Toxic Masculinity at Venice Film Festival

The organisers of the Venice Film Festival had been slammed for only having one female film director among 21 competing for the top prize for the second year in a row. With some reluctance The Venice film festival signed up to an equality charter for women days after it was accused of “toxic masculinity.”
