An analysis of Emily in Paris

So as many of you probably have heard, Netflix released a new show this October directed by the creator of the Sex and the City starring Lily Collins. I watched roughly the first half of this season and decided to make an analysis of the show, as there were a lot of interesting concepts and details that I picked up on.

This show has quite the buzz and has very controversial reviews and ratings, and while I definitely see many flaws in both the characters and the plot, I do find it a light and enjoyable— and slightly annoying at times— rom com that I will continue watching.

Reacting to Emily in Paris - French girl reaction (No spoilers)

Emily in Paris, the new Netflix TV show! Everybody is talking about this new TV show so I decided to watch it and give you an honest review. My channel is all things French so I had to react to Emily in Paris. I was a bit scared at the start because I heard that the show was full of clichés...and it is true. So many things in that show are not realistic but the show is quite good. Something that I did not mention in the video is the settings. I miss Paris so much I was so happy to be able to see this beautiful city again.

 ModernGurlz Reviews

if you saw me live-tweeting while watching this show (https://twitter.com/ModernGurlzz) then you knew this review was coming. i honestly gave emily in paris a fair shot, i like lily collins and i've enjoyed the other projects costume designer patricia field has worked on. but this? this was a mess. the main character is completely unlikeable, the side characters barely have personalities, and it's hardly an accurate depiction of paris. what did you think of emily in paris?
