THE HOLE IN THE GROUND (2019) Visual Review
A Unique Review Using Graphic Visuals. Enjoy!
Sarah and her young son Chris move to a new home in the Irish countryside, next to a forest that hides an enormous sinkhole. One night, Chris vanishes, and when he reappears, he seems unharmed and unchanged. But, as his behavior grows increasingly disturbing, Sarah begins to fear that the boy who has returned may not be her son at all. The Hole in the Ground weaves suspense, terror, and supernatural folklore into a richly evocative story about the primal fears of motherhood

VISUAL REVIEW
Here is my visual review done in an original visual style with several graphics that work you through the film.
An agonized single mom, a haunted child, a creaking house, a ghostly neighbor, and a mysterious, beckoning sinkhole and the ingredients needed to explore patently anxieties about their children growing up. Parental separation, bullying, and moving are the icing on the cake in this slice of near-insanity. This film will play upon your primal fears with considerable expertise in this well-crafted horror story. You will explore things inside yourself you might never have known were there.
