ABOUT THE CAST
KEANU REEVES ( WILLIAM FOSTER ) is one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men. His work has run a wide scope from blockbusters such as John Wick, Speed and the Matrix trilogy, to comedies such as the very popular Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and indies like My Own Private Idaho .
Reeves’ recent film credits include John Wick , which became popular with critics and audiences alike. He reprised the role in John Wick: Chapter 2 , taking the now-iconic character to an even stronger box office opening than the previous. He has also more recently starred in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Neon Demons , and as the voice of Warner Brother’s Keanu . Before that: 47 Ronin , an 18th - century story centered on a band of samurai who set out to avenge the death of their master; Henry’s Crime , which he also produced; Rebecca Miller’s The Private Lives of Pippa Lee , alongside Robin Wright; sci-fi remake The Day the Earth Stood Still , opposite Jennifer Connelly; cop thriller Street Kings , co-starring Forest Whitaker; romantic drama Th e Lake House , with Sandra Bullock; the highly stylized blend of live action and animation A Scanner Darkly, co-starring Woody Harrelson; comic-book adaptation Constantine , opposite Rachel Weisz; and romantic comedy Something’s Gotta Give , alongside Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton.
A few years ago, Reeves made his directorial debut with Man of Tai Chi , which was shot entirely in China. Reeves not only directed the film, he also starred in it. He most recently completed production on Siberia, which he also produced, and Destination Wedding starring alongside Winona Ryder .
The actor’s long list of notable credits includes an acclaimed performance in The Gift , opposite Cate Blanchett; Devil’s Advocate , alongside Al Pacino and Charlize Theron; and Kathryn Bigelow’s Point Break , with Patrick Swayze.
Additional film credits include The Whole Truth, To The Bone, Knock Knock, Hardball, Generation Um, Thumbsucker, Sweet November, The Replacements, A Walk in the Clouds, Little Buddha, Much Ado about Nothing, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Johnny Mnemoni , Chain Reaction and Feeling Minnesota .
Raised in Toronto, Reeves performed on television and in various local theater productions before relocating to Los Angeles. His first widely acclaimed role was in Tim Hunter’s River’s Edge . He then starred in Marisa Silver’s Permanent Record and joined Amy Madigan and Fred Ward in The Prince of Pennsylvania . He was then cast as the innocent Danceny in Stephen Frears’ highly praised Dangerous Liaisons , alongside Glenn Close, John Malkovich and Michelle Pfeiffer. He joined other outstanding casts that year in Ron Howard’s ensemble comedy Parenthood and Lawrence Kasdan’s I Love You to Death . In the fall of 2013, the Reeves - produced documentary Side by Side made its theatrical and VOD debut to critical acclaim. The documentary, which explores the history of filmmaking and the impact of new digital technology, premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. In the film (directed by Chris Kenneally) Keanu interviewed some of Hollywood’s key players, including James Cameron, David Fincher, David Lynch, George Lucas, Danny Boyle, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Steven Soderbergh, Lars von Trier and the Wachowski siblings.

ALICE EVE ( MONA ) – Originally from London, England, Eve’s family moved to Los Angeles when she was young. Coming from a family of actors, Eve started acting early on. She is best known for her role of Dr. Carol Marcus in Star Trek Into Darkness .
Eve started to appear in television dramas such as the BBC 's The Rotters' Club , Agatha Christie's Poirot and Hawking and starred in the film Stage Beauty (2004). In 2006, she starred in two comedy films: Starter for 10 and Big Nothing (in which she and co-star Simon Pegg put on American accents). She spent the early part of 2006 in India working on a drama mini-series Losing Gemma about backpackers. On the stage, Eve has appeared in two plays directed by Trevor Nunn. In 2006, she played young Esme/Alice in the new Rock’N Roll , at the Royal Court Theater later reprising her role for the 2007 Broadway transfer. For this performance, she was nominated for the best supporting actress award at the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards.
In 2009, she played Roxanne in a production of Cyrano de Bergerac. In 2010, Eve played the female lead role in the American romantic comedy film, She’s Out Of My League, in which her parents play the roles of her character's parents. She also played the role of Erin in Sex and the City 2 . During 2011, Eve had a recurring guest role in season 8 of HBO’s Entourage . Eve also portrayed Hollywood actress Lara Tyler in the romantic comedy The Decoy Bride . In 2013, she co-starred in Before We Go with Chris Evans , who also directed the film. She played herself in the Hollywood film Night at The Museum: Secret of the Tomb in 2014 and has since starred in several productions, including Criminal in 2016. In 2016, she appeared in Nosedive, an episode of the anthology series Black Mirror .
Eve most recently finished production on Untogether, starring alongside Jamie Dornan, and the comedy The Brits Are Coming.
THOMAS MIDDLEDITCH (ED) – Best known for his role in HBO’s Silicon Valley , which he was Emmy© nominated for as Best Comedy Actor, Canadian actor Thomas Middledich started his career in New York City. Middleditch joined the cast of the Paramount Pictures' comedy film Fun Size , directed by Josh Schwartz. In 2011, he joined Jay Roach's The Campaign , starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. In 2012, Middleditch joined the cast of the comedy film Someone Marry Barry , directed and written by Rob Pearlstein. It led to a role in The Office's final season episode "The Farm." He then played a police officer in the 2013 CBS Films coming-of-age comedy film The Kings of Summer . In 2013, Middleditch joined HBO's comedy Silicon Valley playing Richard Hendricks. He has said that the pilot was written with him specifically in mind as the lead. In 2014 he joined a CollegeHumor series on YouTube called Camp . For his work on the show, Middleditch has garnered two Satellite Awards nominations and two Critics' Choice Television Award nominations. In 2015, he co-starred in the films The Final Girls and The Bronze . He most recently finished Warner Brother’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters .
JOHN ORTIZ (JONES) – Ortiz is an award-winning actor who honed his craft on the New York stage. He won the Obie Award for Best Actor in the Off-Broadway production of References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot , and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for his performance in the indie film Jack Goes Boating . He is equally as busy in feature films and on television. Ortiz was most recently seen in Warner Brother’s Kong: Skull Island and Zach Braff’s comedy Going in Style , starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. As well as A Dog’s Purpose directed by Lasse Halstrom. He also starred in A Woman, A Part , opposite Maggie Siff and Cara Seymour; Steve Jobs , starring Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet; Blackhat , starring Chris Hemsworth; The Drop , starring Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini; and Diego Luna’s Cesar Chavez , opposite Michael Pena. Among his other credits are the Oscar nominated film Silver Linings Playbook ; Jack Goes Boating , in which he not only starred but also produced with Phillip Seymour Hoffman; Public Enemies , Fast & Furious 6 , Pride and Glory , American Gangster , Alien vs. Predator: AVP2 , Miami Vice , El Cantante , Amistad , Carlito’s Way , Narc , Ransom , Riot , Side Streets , Sgt. Bilko , Before Night Falls , The Opportunists , and The Last Marshall . On television, Ortiz starred opposite Greg Kinnear in Fox’s Rake . He can be seen in the HBO series Togetherness , starring Amanda Peet and Melanie Lynskey. He also starred opposite Dustin Hoffman in the cable series Luck . Along with Hoffman, Ortiz is the co-founder of Labyrinth Theater Company, where he has produced and performed in many productions.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
JEFFREY NACHMANOFF is a film and television writer/director who was born in Arlington, VA. He studied English Literature and Visual Arts at Harvard University before attending USC's School of Cinema-Television. In 2004, Nachmanoff's screenplay for the ecological disaster movie “The Day After Tomorrow” became a blockbuster hit. He made his feature directing debut with the international political thriller “Traitor,” based on his own screenplay, starring Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce. Nachmanoff has also worked extensively in television, directing the pilots for the dramas “Detroit 187” (ABC), “Chicago Fire” (NBC), and multiple episodes of “Homeland” (Showtime). He also co-wrote the pilot for “Legends” (TNT), and co-created, directed and produced the limited series “Hostages” (CBS), starring Dylan McDermott and Toni Collette.
