ABOUT THE CAST

Born in Vancouver, TAYLOR RUSSELL (Zoey Davis) was always into the performing arts while growing up. After she graduated high school she followed her passion for acting and booked a number of roles in film and television in her first year.

Russell most recently filmed features including Trey Edward Shults’ Waves opposite Lucas Hedges, Words on Bathroom Walls opposite Charlie Plummer, and Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets with Lucas Jade Zumann and Jason Isaacs.

She is currently filming season 2 of the hit Netflix Original Series “Lost in Space” where she plays Judy Robinson.


LOGAN MILLER (Ben Miller) recently co-starred in the Fox feature Love, Simon for director Greg Berlanti. Miller wrapped production on the independent feature We Summon the Darkness opposite Alexandra Daddario and plays the son of Jim Gaffigan in You Can Choose Your Family , which premiered at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival. He also stars in the upcoming Blumhouse feature Prey for director Franck Khalfoun and was the love interest to Zoey Deutch in Ry Russo Young's feature adaptation of the best-selling novel Before I Fall , which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. Miller’s additional credits include a recurring role on AMC's top-rated cable drama “The Walking Dead,” the Universal / DreamWorks feature A Dog’s Purpose for director Lasse Hallström, the found footage thriller The Good Neighbor opposite James Caan, which premiered at SXSW, and the lead role of Carter in Paramount's horror comedy Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse alongside Tye Sheridan. Named one of the Ten Breakout Stars for his two films at Sundance in 2015, Miller co-starred in the ensemble drama The Stanford Prison Experiment and was the lead of Take Me to the River. Miller also starred in Plus One which premiered at SXSW and was in featured in Kelly Reichhardt's Night Moves which premiered at Venice, as well as Deep Powder which premiered at Tribeca. Logan broke out as the young Matthew McConaughey in New Line's comedy Ghosts of Girlfriend’s Past, starred as the lead of Disney's hit series I’m in the Band and currently voices the role of Sam in the animated series Ultimate SpiderMan and Guardians of the Galaxy.


DEBORAH ANN WOLL (Amanda Harper) is an actress who embodies the enviable combination of talent, beauty, and natural charm. She continues to effortlessly captivate audiences’ attention role after role.

In 2015, Woll joined teams with the entertainment powerhouse Netflix in its new original action-drama “Marvel’s Daredevil.” Epitomizing both the action and the drama of the genre, Woll plays Karen Page—an enigmatic character at the helm of the series’ dramatic turns, most of which send her crashing into the life of co-star Charlie Cox’s character, Matt Murdock. The thirteen-episode premiere season was brought to viewers in its entirety on April 10, 2015, to critical acclaim. The second season premiered on March 18, 2016 to equally stellar reviews and was renewed for a third and final season, which premiered on October 19, 2018, and is currently streaming on Netflix. Previously, Woll reprised her role as Karen in two original Netflix/Marvel series – “The Defenders,” the epic superhero team-up series with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones), and “The Punisher,” opposite Jon Bernthal. Both series premiered in 2017 and are currently streaming on Netflix.

Woll is no stranger to dramatic roles. She skyrocketed to fame as the wildly popular Jessica Hamby on HBO’s “True Blood,” and was a beloved character throughout the series’ duration. Originally cast as a recurring guest star role in the first season, her character was so admired by fans that she was offered a series regular contract by the second season. The series finale aired on August 24, 2014.

During her hiatus from “True Blood,” she was cast in such films as Mother's Day (2010), Little Murder (2011), Seven Days in Utopia (2011), Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You (2011), Catch .44 (2011), Ruby Sparks (2012), Highland Park (2013), Meet Me in Montenegro (2014), and Forever (2015). More recently, Woll starred in The Automatic Hate , alongside Joseph Cross and Adelaide Clemens. The indie drama premiered in the Narrative Spotlight category at SXSW 2015.

Other television credits include guest-starring roles in shows such as “Life,” “ER,” “The Mentalist,” and “My Name is Earl.”

The daughter of an architect and a teacher, Woll grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Drawn to the arts from an early age, she studied dance and piano before discovering her passion for acting and classical theater. She starred in several high school plays and attended Carnegie Mellon's pre-college intensive program before accepting coveted spots in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of Southern California's prestigious School of Theatre, and an intensive Shakespeare program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Woll currently splits her time between New York and Los Angeles.


With a diverse skill set and resume spanning both television and film, JAY ELLIS (Jason Walker) is quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors and producers.

Ellis is currently in pre-production on the highly anticipated sequel Top Gun: Maverick starring Tom Cruise. The film is expected to release next summer.

On the big screen, Ellis can next be seen in A Girl, A Boy, A Dream , which premiered at the Sundance International Film Festival and can be seen in theaters on September 14th. The film is directed by Qasim Basir and also stars Omari Hardwick and Meagan Good.

Ellis was last seen on HBO’s critically acclaimed, Golden Globe nominated comedy series, “Insecure” opposite Issa Rae. Ellis won a 2018 NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role as Lawrence – Issa’s on-again-offagain boyfriend. Ellis’ character was a fixture in the first two seasons of the hit series – garnering him a passionate, vocal following who identify with his character, known as the #LawrenceHive.

Ellis most recently produced and starred in the independent drama Like Cotton Twines, which was selected to premiere at the 2016 LA Film Festival and the sci-fi thriller Shortwave, which premiered at the Dances with Films Festival in 2016.

His additional television credits include a starring role on the hit BET series “The Game” from 2013-2015 and roles on “Masters of Sex, ” “ Grace and Frankie, ” “ How I Met Your Mother, ” “ Grey’s Anatomy” and “NCIS.”

In 2016, Ellis served as the National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Spokesman. The HIV/AIDS Awareness Days are a project of the Community Capacity Building Coalition (CCBC) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), whose mission is to provide capacity building assistance to community-based organizations and stakeholders involved in HIV/AIDS prevention. In December of 2016, Ellis was requested by the Obama administration to speak and moderate a panel at the White House for the final My Brother’s Keeper summit, an initiative created by President Barack Obama to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color and ensure that all young people can reach their full potential.

Ellis is also an active volunteer at Inside Out Writers, an organization that teaches creative writing classes in Los Angeles County Juvenile Detention Centers.

Jay Ellis graduated Summa Cum Laude from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.


TYLER LABINE (Mike Nolan) currently stars on the hit new NBC series “New Amsterdam” as Dr. Iggy Frome, an attending child psychiatrist who likes to think outside the box but is continually beaten down by the hospital system. Labine can also be seen on the new season of the BBC America series “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency,” starring opposite Elijah Wood and Samuel Barnett as Sherlock Hobbs, the overly enthusiastic small-town sheriff.

Previously, Labine starred as Kevin Pacalioglu on the Hulu/Lionsgate TV breakout comedy series “Deadbeat” for three seasons. Prior to “Deadbeat,” Labine was a series regular on NBC’s “Animal Practice,” CBS’ “Mad Love,” FX’s “Sons of Tucson,” ABC’s “Invasion” and The CW’s “Reaper.” Labine is also the voice of Hunk on the DreamWorks Animation series “Voltron” for Netflix.

On the big screen, Labine has starred alongside Alan Tudyk in the cult classic horrorcomedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. His additional credits include The Boss , Little Evil , Rise of The Planet of The Apes , A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy and Flyboys . He can also be seen in the independent films Little Star , opposite Analeigh Tipton, Someone Marry Barry and Killing Winston Jones .


Actor, writer and comedian NIK DODANI’s (Danny Khan) star is on the rise. This fall, Dodani tickled audiences in CBS’ highly anticipated revival of its hit series “Murphy Brown,” playing Pat Patel, an out social media director who is tasked with bringing Murphy Brown (Candice Bergen), Corky Sherwood (Faith Ford), Frank Fontana (Joe Regalbuto) and Miles Silverberg (Grant Shaud) into the 21st century after these original “FYI” team members begin working together once again on Murphy’s new morning talk news show.

Earlier this year, Dodani reprised his everyone’s favorite best friend Zahid, the wise cracking, girl-obsessed companion and co-worker of Sam Gardner on Netflix’s critically acclaimed dramedy “Atypical.” Season 2 is currently streaming on Netflix and the series was recently renewed for a third season.

In Summer 2018, Dodani starred in the Netflix coming of age LGBTQ film Alex Strangelove , to rave reviews. Additionally, he has appeared in memorable guest starring roles in television series such as “The Comeback” with Lisa Kudrow, “Selfie” alongside Karen Gillan and John Cho, “The Player” with the legendary Wesley Snipes, and “Kevin from Work.”

Dodani earned his comedy chops on some of Los Angeles’ most iconic stages, including The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory and The Hollywood Improv, dazzling audiences with his wit and impeccable timing. One of his most notable stand-up performances captured hearts as he tackled the personal topic of growing up as an openly gay, Indian American who wanted to be a writer in Hollywood.

He is no stranger to the big screen either, having held roles in indie features including The Good Neighbor , which was his first on screen meeting with his “Atypical” co-star, Keir Gilchrist, and will appear in the upcoming indie feature Behold My Heart with Marisa Tomei.

Born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dodani currently resides in Los Angeles.

YORICK VAN WAGENINGEN (Games Master WooTan Yu) is a Dutch actor, director and writer. He spent the first fifteen years of his career working in theatre in the Netherlands before venturing out to cinema. He started working in the United States following the succes of the Dutch feature Total Loss , directed by Dana Nechushtan, which was selected for the AFI fest.

The last two decades, van Wageningen has worked more or less consistedly in Hollywood. He starred opposite Clive Owen and Angelina Jolie in Beyond Borders , played in The New World by Terrence Malick, The Chronicles of Riddick and played the part of Joost in The Way opposite Martin Sheen, directed by Emilio Estevez.

He played the part of Bjurman in David Fincher’s award winning The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Sadak in Michael Mann’s Blackhat.

He starred as Warden Barrot in the remake of the 1973 film Papillon opposite Charlie Hunnam & Rami Malek.

van Wageningen also frequently works in European cinema. He is a long time collaborator in Peter Greenaway’s films and has starred in Martin Koolhoven’s Winter in Wartime , Guido van Driel’s Resurrection of a Bastard and most recently in Leonardo Guerra Seragnoli’s Last Summer .

He just directed his first theatre play in the Netherlands and has written several screenplays.

van Wageningen is married and has a dog called Atilla.
