We are all children of our time. Events, friends and family shape us. None of us are an island. Additionally we all effect change in all that surrounds us. It’s a two way street. This movie really drives home these facts. The 1930s Depression Era shaped John Dillinger and he in turn shaped it. The other thing that this movie points to is the far reaching effect we all can have, even after our earthly life has come to an end.
