it? When Linda wakes up the following morning her husband is very much alive.

You
will be thinking about the events of Premonition long after you leave
the theater.
Emily Groveman
PR.com
The script, written by Bill Kelly, is a unique departure from a typical
psychological thriller. It is suspenseful without being laden with
guts and gore. The element of time-play is interesting, because unlike
other films that are told out of chronological order, such as Memento,
the sequence of days in Premonition is seemingly completely random.
While this device is not as successful as it is in other films, it
at least serves to heighten the suspense and keep viewers on the
edge of their seats...
There’s
just no excusing it.
Joshua Tyler

Premonition plays out like the half-hearted, half-formed daydream
of a bored, inebriated suburban housewife sick of ironing clothes
and cleaning up baby vomit. I can deal with time travel movies
that don’t make any sense, it’s time travel after all
and you’re probably better off not thinking about it. But
it would be nice if Premonition at least made an effort to put
together some sort of cohesive narrative. Or maybe it would help
if the film had a purpose, a point… anything. Somebody grab
a bucket and start bailing, the plot holes are sinking this ship...
Is Premonition the Lamest Movie Ever?
Nick Schager
Slant Magazine
Probably not, given its myriad competitors for the dubious title,
but damn if it doesn't work hard—through not working hard
at all—at setting some sort of record for dreary ridiculousness...
Is Sandra Bullock losing it?
Emanuel Levy
EmanuelLevy.Com
The second consecutive sandra Bullock time-travel flick (after
Lake House) is a senseless, incoherent tale in which the visual
fog she walk through as a housewife uncertain of her hubby's existence
is also a dramatic one that envelops the whole film...
